note: the adobe flash settings/options in Chrome 88.0.x are gone - this seems to be the "flash free" version as Flash Player is not recognized nor work with Chrome 88 & higher

This has been talked about for more than a year, a Microsoft engineer had uploaded a patch to Gerrit to implement that option but it was abandoned. A few days ago another patch was uploaded and, according to the Chromium bug, the target for this feature is Chrome 86.
This is what the patch says:

PWA on Desktop Windows: Implement uninstallation via OS settings.
> When user uninstall a PWA from Windows Settings or Control, it also uninstall PWA from browser registrar.

The Microsoft engineer in charge of this option has posted a video showing the new feature in action in Chrome:

This new feature is finally available in Chrome (Dev and Canary) but it's hidden behind a command line flag.

Installed PWAs now appear in the Settings app and in the control panel (just like in Edge):


And those PWAs can now be uninstalled directly from there:



The uninstallation process works flawlessly, so I think Chromium developers will enable this feature by default in the stable version soon.
