I'm getting this... more frequently than I'd like (both on Win 10 and Ubuntu)

    "Network Protocol Error

An error occurred during a connection to Windows 10 Help Forums.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the network protocol was detected.

Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."

It's not specific to this forum..just posted it as it happened just now... haven't tried another browser ...what protocol am I supposed to be looking at?
    As this?
    Code:
An error occurred while processing your request.

I have FF 65.0.1 and this just started two days ago with the National Weather Service (NWS) site, it's the only site to give me a problem loading.

I'm not currently using Firefox (Quantum) but maybe check that security.tls.version.min is set to 3 in about:config

    Note the current setting first.

Here's mine, there are a couple different:

The 0rtt data and the fallback limit. I know I didn't change them in about:config unless I changed them somehow in Options but there again, I haven't changed anything in options.

    Just downloaded portable Firefox:

Looks the same. No problem with tenforums. Maybe post a link to National Weather Service as a quick search shows multiple websites.

I also wonder if your AV has SSL scanning enabled (scan secure connections) ?

The NWS is changing a lot of their pages to new and improved so there may be some growing pains. Do my AV's do SSl scans, that I'm not sure.

I did notice on one of the new pages there, that they were using https and my link was http so I added an s to the old link and I got right on, imagine that!

I'll have to keep an eye on that. Thanks for your help in jogging the ol' grey cells Callender!

Just for reference: Cannot access secure websites since I installed Bitdefender

A few other AV's have the same problem. Obviously not the issue this time.

    Consider using https everywhere extension:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/fir...ps-everywhere/

    https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

Saves the bother of modifying old bookmarks.

Thanks Callender! I check them both out and see which one works best for me.
