So if I go to equifax.com I expect to get a warning, but I didn't. Do I have to join FF Monitor first in order for that to work? I wouldn't think so...

It should already be a part of FF.

I'm gonna try it now. I have the beta, so I should get a warning.

Edit: No warning, but maybe I have to buy a membership before I get warned?

IDK. I expect a warning from the equifax site, and the newegg site. I don't get one at either site.

May only be for new occurrences. Otherwise, would probably get them every time to went there.

I haven't tried it yet but it looks like you do have to sign-up. The first step is to go to: Firefox Monitor

The first part is where you enter whichever email addy you want to check. That part is like doing the Have I been Pwned site.

Immediately below that you'll see a green "Get Your Report" button, when you click on that a shaded overlay appears asking you to sign up for firefox monitor.

Take it a step further and sign up for free Firefox Monitor breach alerts. This means you’ll be on top of any future breach that impacts you. When you use Firefox, you’ll also receive notifications in the browser if you’ve visited a site that has been breached.
At the bottom of here: Firefox Monitor, take control of your data
