My FF is at v 62.0.1. I was unable to update to v 63.0 and v 63.0.1. It downloads and signals for a restart, but the version does not change and FF will periodically call out that an update is available. I had this same issue prior to v 62.0, but it eventually fixed itself.

Uninstall it and install 63.0.1 It'll keep your settings.

Is Firefox getting slow and bloated or what?
Edge doesn't have that slowness and bloat - or FF's features.

    Whatever.

For me Firefox is getting faster with each release.

I have noticed that FF will lag loading certain pages. It may be a setting or my security programs. I have not had time to work on it. It started with FF 63.

    UPDATE:
I have now installed FF 62 using custom install and put it in its own directory and now have FF 62 and FF 63.0.1 available. It uses the same profile as 63.0.1 except I turned off updates.

It is working fine but need to see if it shows the lag.

Same here. It's definitely been getting faster not slower.

Yeah, did that before on a previous version. This time, the install didn't work correctly. It left a desktop shortcut that would only launch the installer and the .exe file only ran the installer also. The third download finally installed FF v63.0.1 (64 bit) so that it would launch. However, by then all custom settings were gone as were the bookmarks. Restored the bookmarks from the recover menu and reset the settings manually. Just an hour of my life that I won't get back.
