Maybe years ago but not now. Chrome uses way more memory.

Specified separate folder but it didn't make own desktop link so did it myself. It picked up everything form my regular 62.02. Gonna use it for a while to see if I can see any difference.

Sorry Mike I was forgetting that I've used Firefox beta releases for years now, mainly because the betas were released in 64-bit versions whereas the releases were all 32-bit.
I'm running v63.0 beta 3 at the moment so thought I'd see where version 64 installed to by default. It created a new directory in Users/ my name and left my beta 63 version untouched.
So yes there was an error in my original post.

I am using Fx 63 BETA 3 and just got a notice that a site was slowing me down wanted to know what I wanted to do with it? I chose stop it. It did and wiped out all of my passwords. Luckily Mozbackup still works.

I've noticed beta 3 is slowing down a bit, still beta 4 is out tomorrow

Beta 4 is still kind of Buggy, I am going back to 62 till they get up to Beta 8 or 9.
