I can't see them pushing the release back more than a couple of days. Mozilla seems to think they have given the extension devs plenty of time so if some haven't jumped on board then hard luck.
I agree, and that's what's going to push a lot of people to Chrome (or another browser, but I say Chrome because the same extensions are installed on Chrome that will work). They will update, and find their extension aren't working, and wonder why while switching to something else. I know I maintain a couple of people's Firefox installations, and I know they have no idea what, or where, their extensions they use are coming from. I try to teach them, but they just tell me as long as it's working they're happy. Well they won't be happy when five extensions just stop that day.

Suppose to be Nov 14, but I don't know for sure. A lot of extensions are still in Beta that a lot of people rely on. One being LastPass. They may need to either push it back, or allow legacy Add-on for a while longer.
LastPass Beta is working on Firefox 57 and up.

I said that. It's a Beta, and needs to be installed separately right now. Unless LastPass automatically makes the switch on/before 57 there will be unhappy users.

And just like that LastPass auto-updated today to a WE Add-on. Maybe they were watching me? HAHA

Installed but... hm... when clicking in what's new still redirects to the beta specifications.

It will until tomorrow. Mozilla only put it on the server(s). Once they upload everything to the stable release link(s) everything should follow. It's usually best to wait if you are on the release channel for an auto-update as last minute changes can/usually happen.

Really loving the speed of 57! Well done Mozilla!

Looking forward to what future versions may bring.

Been on the 57 for about a week now, I would never go back to 56.x.

Yes, LastPass made it to show! :)
