Mozilla has released Version 56.0.1 of the Firefox browser. This version provides bug fixes and migrates users of 32-bit Firefox on 64-bit Windows to 64-bit Firefox.

Did it shows up for you? Mine says it's up to date... 56.0

So it does, a seamless migration from 32-bit to 64-bit with no apparent problems (well, none I've found yet).

Edit: it does leave it installed in 'Program Files (x86)' though - not that that's a problem, as such (just a bit confusing) :)

Perhaps the patch doesn't apply to those already running 64-bit versions.

Have to actually D/L it to get the new update to 56.01 64bit. Just updated mine. Thanks Edwin. :)

x64 here on 2 computers, it updated to 56.01 2 days ago on one computer but not on other !!
