Thanks JW. But, I don't understand how something so popular can be so anti??? If it becomes obsolete and a program uses it, so do I lose the program too?
I hate to tell you but Flash is on it's way out as well.

Even the betas are soundless with 17063, Edwin. I'll just use another browser if I want to have sound, which I don't very often.

When I need sound I just switch to Vivaldi, IE or even Edge, no big deal. Someone or something will fix this problem soon enough.

I use 100% sound on my pc, the speakers are never off. What is it with browsers? I was under the impression they had the customer at heart, or so FF claim anyway

Assuming the lack of Java and flash appears, or rather disappears, how many programmes, estimate, will become unserviceable??

Just some mix-up with 57 FF and 17063, someone will fix it soon, whose ever fault it was. Those fast insider builds are not exactly predictable, so Mozilla didn't have a chance.

Yeah, me too, Count. Edge even beats out FF in the sound arena . . . :)
