Sometimes a "refresh" of FF does the trick. If you have all your addons, etc synced to your FF account (which you should IMO), it's no big deal. Just a little time.

Thanks for the reminder.
I sometimes forget to check when it's also "Black Tuesday".
It's not up at the regular "systems and languages" page in the US, but we don't typically see it until ~mid-day or later.

just tried it again, still wont close when coming out of net. Obviously they are not going to fix it. As a consequence of it not closing in the background I cant use it until rebbot.

This is really more of a news thread than a support thread.
But, did you see my reply to your similar post in another thread yesterday, HERE?
As mentioned there, most performance problems originate in the user's profile, not in the program itself.
I respectfully suggest that you might want to try the troubleshooting advice posted in that other thread.
If that does not work, then perhaps it might be a good idea to start a new, separate topic.
Someone will be happy to assist you.
That way, we won't clutter this news/announcement thread with support issues?
