Nightly 64 did not install over 62 for me, I was running both , you can run all 3 Nighty, Beta and Final if you like. They share the same folder but have different Program folders.

The Beta will overwrite the final but not the Nightly build 64.

It must be nearly 2 years since I used Nightly and apart from the occasional bug I just got bored with updates every day

I did it for about 6 years. Got real tired of all of the updates and reporting a Bug today is a great deal harder. I went to Firefox 63 Beta 3.
