So we now have got a new stable channel for Firefox thats v41.0.
I wanted to know what all tweaks could be done to this version Firefox to achieve best performance in Firefox.
I ask this because many of the old tweaks and parameters are deprecated in the newer version.
New ,stable ? Seems stable before this update. Why what kind of performance problems are you having, that feel need to tweak it more ?
For one your internet performance, system performance will have a lot to also do with this too. Amount of running processes ,extensions and add-ons to Firefox can slow you a bit more.

I am using the developer edition 42.0a2 64 bit with "multi process" enabled. I am an avid FF user, and I have found that in the past year, FF needs little tweaking for speed. In the past I have adjusted many about:config parameters including pipelining, but to little effect. The default is pretty fast.
I have also just recently compared the latest 41 with developer 42 , side by side, in win10 and win 7. I'm impressed with the better resource management of the 'new' FF direction, though developers may not be. My most essential extensions function, and there is some built in things now in the menu, both Nightly, and developer, that are low resource, and negate the need for resource hogging extensions.
