I never use Edge and only used it as test when I could not access Bing.com in Firefox or Chrome, so I've made no changes to the defaults in Edge.
I was referring to the privacy settings in internet options that I assume you`ve checked. (that is; blocked websites and such)

you used a win10 privacy tool.. it blocked bing.com in your firewall

    open firewall with advanced settings.
    look in outbound rules.
delete the one about telemetry. that under the remote address collum it has bings ip 204.79.197.200

delete that and it should work.

Check for viruses. A good tool to use is malwarebytes free: Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Internet Security Software

Temporarily disable your antivirus and see if it allows you to access bing now.

Reset Internet Options: Change or reset Internet Explorer settings - Windows Help

Make sure your antivirus AND Windows are both completely updated.

Has the OP updated his antivirus software and/or removed it in case it's firewall is causing a problem?

Edit: N/M I didn't go to the end. Lol.

I get the same errors trying to access bing.com on Firefox, Edge, Chrome, and Opera. All give the same error and cannot access bing.com all access all other websites normally.
must have something to do with the privacy tweaks we have made because i did that as well and cannot access bing, either.

checked firewall, no telemetry entry in outbound rules. however, i use spybot anti-beacon and all telemetry is blocked. thought that might be the problem, but disabled it and still can't connect. odd.

funny--i am also having a problem with the 'news' and 'money' apps. the'logo' screen for news comes up, hangs around for a few seconds and then simply disappears, however, with money, it disappears immediately. tried all fixes including powershell commands--and nothing wors. wonder if this is related.
