    Tried running a Powershell fix I found

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    but it made no difference.

    I haven't used Edge for a few weeks, I just opened it and it came up fine, no problems. I'm on W10 Home x64. I have IE11, Edge, and Waterfox (Mozilla's x64) browsers installed.

    I compared versions and I have the same Microsoft Edge 20.10240.16384.0 as shown in your post, maybe reinstall Edge, other than that I don't know what you might do. I quick checked tutorials and didn't see much about edge.

    First and easiest thing to try, see if you can restore it to last week, or a point when Edge worked.

    Found this link from a Microsoft page with instructions to reinstall the Edge browser. http://www.techtantri.com/how-to-rei...-edge-browser/

    Probably good idea to do a backup/image before trying the Edge reinstall.

    Bingo! Good call.

    Followed the directions except I didn't delete the current Edge folder, just renamed it in case something went wrong.
    Rebooted, ran the Powershell command in a Administrator Powershell window and Edge works again.

    I have been waiting for 40 minutes and the screen looks just like it should but completed has not shown up yet. Am I OK or not?

    Are you doing the Edge re-install, or is this for something else?

    I would like to thank the innovator of this fix. I was looking at the last sentence without looking in the context as it means nothing to my unskilled eyes. I noticed it said it was completed but was followed by a sentence that caused me to over look the completion. My error. Sorry about that. It corrected the problem for which I am grateful and a lot sooner than I reported.
    TY
