And you are not getting the Calendar screen with the Outlook Selection button at the upper right?

Last time I launched it it closed and a New Outlook window opened offering the option to sign in.
As I said, that fails with an obscure error message. Prior to that it 'updated' to New Outlook.

When I again launch the Calendar app, it displays normally.

So I guess next time it will warn me that the time after that it will 'upgrade' to New Outlook. And so on in a cycle.

The point of failure is where I can't sign in with New Outlook.

But the point is, I haven't the least interest in trying to resolve that...

So in the last day or so Microsoft has removed the toggle for Legacy Outlook so entries in my Windows 10 Calendar do NOT synch with the entries in the New Outlook.
    Nice going Microsoft!

Don't expect consistency in such extra tools...either in their lifetime or between them as time goes on. Go 3rd party.

Is there a 3rd party Calendar that will synch with Windows 10 Calendar?

Depends what you mean by "Windows 10 Calendar". I will assume you mean the Calendar app which is being withdrawn. If so, there's no point considering it..

I mean the one that appears when you click on the Time/Date in the System Tray.

There isn't a 'Windows 10 calendar' - there's a Calendar app and that's integrated with the Action Centre and time/date.
Sadly no 3rd party calendar is going to be so neatly integrated I suspect.

I've always been amazed, going all the way back to Windows 3.0, how Microsoft has "a better idea" and then down the road proceeds to deprogram their better ideas, and after millions of their users get accustomed to them.
    Thanks for your thoughts.

    Cheers
