    Desktop computer often fails to access Yahoo mail.


    Hello,

    I have this repeating problem with accessing Yahoo mail on my desktop computer. Sometimes it works, but usually it does not. I am unable to load the website (page not found error message), send emails (if I finally do load the website) and receive new mails (if I do get to load the website). Sporadically however there are no issues.

    I also have a laptop computer with as far as I know the same setup. No issues at all there.

    The desktop computer is wired, while the laptop is wireless.

    I've tried to disconnect my anti-virus software without any change.

    Clear DNS Cache, browser cache, cookies or reset browser, yes you will have to re-login, but it might fix it.
    Alternately, you could just change DNS - The Best Free and Public DNS Servers (2024)

    I've tried the other suggestions you had, but not clear the DNS cache. I did so now and Yahoo mail appears to be working fine. I'll test for a few days since the issue is not always present. Hopefully this solved the issue!
