Chrome quit/gone and then after I installed FireFox Chrome....

Several days ago, I had a thread about Chrome not working, Tried uninstall and then wouldnt install. Got error... (Windows 10)
I am too busy to keep after this, so I put Fire Fox on the machine and was getting to like that a whole lot better than Edge. For a lark (after a few days of using F.F.) I tried to install Chrome. Chrome installed and it worked. Working great....
Just so ya know, being patient sometimes works out. Or maybe just dumb luck.

    There's today's programmers for ya.

I remember the Windows XP days. Everything was ... practically perfect, for the "timerange in technology", that the XP operating system existed in, Now so much programming is second-hand and low quality.

Look at how many topics exist in this forum.
Now compare it to the XP Forms... oh wait. That never existed, because that operating system was so well designed.
    Oops.

(don't know if you have experienced this yet, but you know how Siri, or Alexa (the Google/Amazon device), doesn't hear exactly what you say anymore, and rambles some non-sense stuff that has nothing to do with anything?
What about when you are in a car with someone who is driving, and your phone says you cannot use your phone because3 you're driving?
What about all the updates to all your favorite apps on your phone? Love how settings get moved around so much that it's just so damn annoying?)

    Welcome to today.

Sometimes software glitches can resolve themselves with time. A system restart or updates running in the background could have addressed the underlying issue that was preventing Chrome from installing or functioning properly.
If you're concerned about the initial Chrome issue or want to be proactive, you can run a scan with your antivirus software to rule out any malware that might have been causing problems.

Ive scanned a few times with Malwarebytes just to be sure, and just consider this a very lucky happenstance. In my mind, I find NO reason for this to turn out this way.
