windows mail folders only showing the last 3 months

i have just started using windows mail as my outlook 2010 is not recognised by talk talk any more (security issues)

when i look in my folders only e mails from the last 3 months appear to show.

if i access my e mail using the talk talk website all e mails are in each folder no matter how old they are.

is there a setting in windows mail to allow all e mails to be seen

I am running windows 10 Version 22H2 (Os Build 19045.4170

Assuming you are using the Windows 10/11 Mail App then:

Settings > Manage Accounts > Select the Account > Change Mailbox sync settings >

Download email from ... select "any time" from the drop down box.

Click on Done at the bottom.
