Windows 10 - MS Edge Repair

My Edge keeps not responding. I have tried all the usual remedies with little success and would like to run the Edge repair.
But I do not wish to lose my passwords, favourites and personalised favourite bar, my extensions and settings etc.

Question ? Will the repair program retain and reproduce all my personal data as outlined above ?
I would appreciate replies from those members who have actually run this repair program.

There may be an underlying issue with the OS, try the usual SFC and DISM commands to see what pops up.

You might try an easy thing first- check first for any untoward 3rd party program effects.

    See e.g.
Windows Edge (browser) won't stay open
    - and solution in that case is in the last couple of posts.

And prior to that, note what pointed to it and try that.

    My Edge keeps not responding.
You don't say for how long this has been so.
If this started recently. try using a suitable System Restore point.

Worth checking before trying to fix something that may or may not be broken.

But I do not wish to lose my passwords,
A great way to avoid that, and the problem of recovering them or backing them up, is to use a 3rd party password manager, common across browsers. Most also have the option to sync between devices, even e.g. an Android phone.

I would like if possible a precise answer to my OP question on the repair program and not be side tracked onto not responding problems.

Brink posted a very closely related article on the web regarding Windows 11.

And given that I was polite enough to reply, your reply leads me to add you to my ignore list, as I would like, if possible, to not to be troubled by responses like that. Good bye.
