Is there any e-mail client that will forward e-mails retroactively? As in its on a PC thats been turned off for the weekend, but as soon as you turn it ON on Monday morning, it will start forwarding the e-mails it received on Saturday/Sunday?
It looks as if you could set up a couple of message filters on Thunderbird.
E.g.
1 to filter and move to a folder all messages you want to be forwarded
2. a rule operating on that folder to forward the messages.
You would then use those rules appropriately.
Naturally if you wanted the forwarding to be to more than 1 address, you would need to repeat that.
Just a suggestion.. not looked deeply into it.
Suggest there's something amiss with your O/S or other software is interfering.
It's fine for me on 2 PCs. If that was a general problem, many would be complaining.
Could be some common setting/unusual configuration/some program you have running on each...

Oh.. I thought you meant Thunderbird was crashing...
You mean you have forwarding set up using Tbird, but forwarding stops working after 8 days.
You asked first if there was a client that could forward mail as you asked... which told me you didn't have one now... confusing!
Couldn't you set up forwarding in the online interface to your email provider [such as Outlook.com] instead?
