    Why is my account added in Edge?


    I had been using Firefox the whole time, but since Firefox does not support the use of Passkeys, I had to use Edge to sign in to my Google account.

    I tried removing my account from the Edge Profile settings, but every time I open up Edge, its still there?

    Is there any way to remove my account under the Profiles settings as shown from the image here?

    Also, I am using a LOCAL WINDOWS ACCOUNT and NOT a MS Account.

    When Microsoft gets its claws into you, it won't let go

    However, as long as you're not actuall signed in, it's just part of the history.

    Its resolved now. Just had to go into the Accounts settings and remove the account from there from the Email and Accounts section.
