Go Rando add-in? Has Facebook associations. Probably installed accidentally and/or when something else installed

Use RevoUninstaller to look for it as a standalone program

Check FFox extensions. Otherwise, save your bookmarks and use RevoUninstaller (incl Advanced option) to remove FFox. Re-install.

I use a portable utility called "toggle firefox update" that does exactly that for 2 reasons:
    1. Stops the update nag
    2. I'm not one to jump on updates as they roll out.

It makes a single reg entry change. I love it!

Before you go to all the trouble of an uninstall\reinstall, try it. It requires a firefox restart after you make the change and is available at the link below:

Toggle Firefox Update : Easily Enable or Disable Automatic Updates in Firefox

edit: sorry, too slow on the keyboard. I see your good now

Not sure what you mean by "pup"

There's TWO pics in the original post.
The "problem" is/was, the very skinny pic on top. The help/about pic was just for reference.

I know this thread is basically done, but i wanted to add this anyway. on the possibility that this was a PUP, yesterday, i installed malwarebytes temporarily, did a scan, and besides some false positives it picked up (which i did not alter or remove because they AREN'T it), it DID pick up a weird dll file that was in my SysWOW64 folder called BReWErS.dll (yes it was labelled exactly like that), and i.....was absolutely puzzled on when it got there. the date created tab said it was there since 11/7/2023, yet i didnt have any noticeable problems with it, nor do i have any idea what i may have downloaded that put it there. malwarebytes labeled it as PUP.GameHack or something else along the lines....and i still got no clue where it came from

I quarantined it, deleted it, and ran full virus scans with windows security, and superantispyware, everything came back clean, and dism, sfc, and chkdsk reported no problems on that front. all in all, still the weirdest day i ever had with my setup
