    Resizing Browser Windows

    Windows 10 ver. 22H2

I have dual monitors and I use Google Chrome as my primary browser.

Often I have two different Chrome sessions running; one on each monitor. It used to be that I could change the screen view using the CTRL key and the mouse wheel. I can still do that, but when I enlarge the view on one monitor, the second monitor follows suit and resizes as well. I would like to be able to resize them independently so that when I resize the view on one monitor, the second monitor stays the way it is.

How do I make that happen? Or CAN I make that happen?

Not having any details in My Computer it will be difficult to guess what the setup is such as how the monitors are connected, whether using 2 video/graphics adapters or just a splitter.

Chrome has "per site" zoom level. So different zoom for each tab (or different sessions)

So it should be normal to have different zoom on each screen. Did you have the same site opened in each browser?

It happens if you are showing the page from the same domain. Firefox does it too, and it shouldn't

Edit: it could be done via extensions. This behavior is been there from about 2017. Hard to notice, as one usually doesn't have same sites opened on multiple monitors.

Each monitor is connected to a separate HDMI port on the PC.

I don't think everyone understands what I am getting at.

I open Chrome on Monitor 1. I go to a web page; we'll say Facebook.

Then I right-click the Chrome icon in the Task Bar and select "New Window."

The new window opens and I move the new window over to Monitor 2.

On Monitor 2 I open YouTube.

Then I go back to Facebook on Monitor 1 and when I do a CTRL-Mouse Wheel to zoom Facebook in or out, the YouTube on Monitor 2 with YouTube also zooms in or out.

What I want it to do is, if I do a CTRL-Mouse Wheel to zoom in or out on Monitor 1, I do not want Monitor 2 to change and to stay at the current zoom level.

Look at your Chrome's Extensions. Is there any 3rd party Zooming Extension installed? If so, disable it for the time being and try the same example in your previous post.
