    Hi,

I go through the "old" Windows 10 Control Panel.
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler >Task Scheduler Library.
I checked mine & it's clear in both Administrator & Standard accounts.
There is also nothing listed under OneCore or XblGameSave & I don't find anything relating to Edge under Windows.

But I STILL see multiple Microsoft Edge processes running.
I'm going to use the Registry Tweak & if that doesn't help, I'll use Edge Blocker program that fishingfool suggested.

Were you able to disable it?

MS Edge is difficult to remove from Windows because Microsoft intends to have it, pretty much, part of the Operating System. So, for example, Windows Update, or other OS tasks, may re-install Edge. In other words, Microsoft wants you to try to convert over to Edge.

I never use it; I use Google Chrome because so many Settings / Bookmarks / Security Updates / etc. are changing, and it would be difficult, for me, to change browsers. Plus, I'm used to Google Chrome.

But you can try this method, if it hasn't been suggested, or if you haven't tried it yet. Disable Edge from running in the background of your computer. I have Background Apps disabled (Edge is installed on my computer), but it never has a task of it running in Task Manager:
