MS Edge window is displaying at the far left of the screen

I’ve got a new HP laptop that came with Windows 10. It’s been working ok a few days until this morning. The MS-edge window has moved off-screen to the left, showing only a very narrow column, but I’m not able to move its window back to the desktop screen and I am therefore unable to use it. How can I restore it to being fully displayed on the desktop? I’ve tried many things including re-booting the machine but nothing has worked. What can I do to restore it?

Hi, at a guess it's remembering the last window position and relaunching each time at that position.

You could try force closing Edge using the task manager.
    - when the task manager is open
Click the Processes tab to see the apps and programs that are currently running.
Right-click the Microsoft Edge entry to open the context menu.
Select End task to shut down the Edge browser.

    Then try relaunching it.

If still no luck, you could try moving the window thus:

Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select Cascade windows from the pop-up menu.
Hold down the Shift key, then right-click on the appropriate application icon in the Windows taskbar.
On the resulting pop-up, select the Move option.
Begin pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the invisible window from off-screen to on-screen. Typically, you will use the left arrow to move the window from right to left.

    or
Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select Cascade windows from the pop-up menu.
    - and if the Edge window is visible in the normal way, try dragging it to a new position or e.g. maximising it.
