A problem with my browser and Windows 10 it self

When I click on the cursor to highlight the item to drag it to some other place. Unless I dbl click on the cursor before moving over to where I want to put the hightlighted word the cursor won't move to the new location. The hight will just sit there and move over the highlited item. How do I correct this problem? BTW I just reformated the HDD and reinstalled Windows. This problem shouldn't be happening.

I can't work out what you're doing and with what. What are you trying to achieve and what are you using to do it with?

It also happens when I click on an open Windows, Window. If I click on the open Window and hold the left mouse button down to move the window around. When I let go of the left mouse button. The mouse is spouse to let go of the window. The mouse doesn't let go of the of the Window unless I click it again. The mouse does the same thing when I highlight a word to let's say past a word from from a file into Firefox.

Sounds like you have ClickLock enabled. Make sure it's unchecked:

    Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Buttons >
