    I've been battling notifications and can't seem to get them to work as


    I don't want/need a notification banner on every email. It seems I when I turn notifications off so I get rid of the banners my alarms don't work. So I'm forced to have banners if I also want a alarm to be active in Win 10.

    I get a sound with each email and if I an not around to hear the sound I see the new mail envelope so having banners build up in the notification center is not a good thing to me. Is there a way that I can get a notification when I get an email without a banner ?

    **** Update****
    I figured it out so that it does what I wanted. I get a sound when I get Outlook mail which is what I want, in notifications I disabled Outlook so now I don't get banners ( which is what I wanted) The only app enabled to send me notifications is the clock.

    So now I don't get banners that pile up in the notification center and the alarms work :)
