Your browser (Edge) is managed by your organization

I am home user recently I just noticed that in the settings of my Edge browser I see this message "Your browser is managed by your organization"

What organization ?? I have never setup anything or used any other software to make these changes. Below is a screenshot of the Policies in my edge browser which are being managed by this so called organization. Can some one please be kind enough to help me make some sense of this since I am certainly not comformtable with this.

I have included the version of the windows that I'm currently on. Any help in this regard would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello Dr Kufr,

It's normal to see "Your browser is managed by your organization" anytime you have a policy configured for Edge.

If you don't want these policies set, then "mandatory" policies are usually saved as values in the registry keys below. Deleting the values inside this key will remove the policy.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge

    OR

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge

Clicking on the listed policies in your screenshot can also provide more details about each one.

Note the same applies in Windows generally where you may - even in Home- see a red message referring to an organisation.

This simly reflects settings which are seen by MS as being ones which an IT department might set by Group Policy, for example, or as part of some policy to configure or limit the behaviour as the 'organisation's' management desires.

Guys this worked like a charm.

Run CMD as admin and copy/paste:

    Code:
    taskkill /im msedge.exe /f
    reg delete "HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" /f
    reg delete "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge" /f
Well to be honest I did some more digging and after months of looking for a solution this worked for me.
