    email issue with att.net

Not sure which sub-forum to post this in but I have a long ongoing email issue. I have email accounts with both ATT and Cablelynx. When I try to send an email from a @Cablelynx.com account to a @att.net, the message will not go through. It will successfully work the other way around, cablelynx to ATT.

This does not occur only within my accounts but with anyone with an ATT or Yahoo.com account. They cannot receive my @Cablelynx.com originated messages.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

Your profile states you are on Windows 7 ? What browser and have you tried another browser ? Any special filters ?

There is a Help icon in the right column on the ATT email page. Give it a try and I think ATT has a Customer Support Forum.

Double check your email server settings. POP3 and IMAP Email Settings - AT&T Email Customer Support Suggest that you contact cablelynx regarding the email server settings that they use.

Sorry, I'm on Win 10. Messages have been sent using Thunderbird email client, as well as trying using the web based email pages on both att and cablelynx account using Firefox. No luck. No filters on either accounts that relate to these 2 email servers.

I'll try the ATT help but it has been totally useless in the past.

I use POP3 on the cablelynx accounts. Also POP3 on the att accounts. IMAP on yahoo account.

I've spoke with Cablelynx customer support several times and they have verified my settings for their accounts. I'll check the att link you gave, but changing any settings on my att accounts won't help me with other folks I send messages to that have att/yahoo email addresses.

I may have solved this. I logged into the att account using the web browser and found the missing cablelynx emails in the spam folder. I have checked this before and this is the first time they have showed up in any folder. I marked them "not" spam and at this point new messages are showing up in the inbox as they should.

    We'll see if this continues!
