I found out that there was no Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box in the Internet options when I tried to reset it. Please help me to fix it. Thank you. My Windows 10 version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3516)

Hi, not one I've seen. Just wondering if you see the same thing in Safe Mode...

I hesitate to simply suggest an in-place upgrade repair install..

For I.E. , have a look at this > Lifecycle FAQ - Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge

I use Google Chrome and this is my Advanced Tab:

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for your reply.
My PC is hacked. I know it, but I can do nothing about it.
What do you mean " in-place upgrade repair install"? I haven't tried Safe Mode yet. I guess it would be the same.
Let me try to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer.

    @Paul Black

Likewise, Chrome is my default... but my Internet Options shows the Reset button..

My suggest of using Safe Mode is on the basis of something else I read. Feel free to ignore suggestions.

    - to answer that question, you might..
    - search the Tutorials section
    - use a search engine e.g. Google
    - search tenforums...

What is your full build number? the forum directed you to add it - so we don't have to ask...

    - If so, back up data (you have already...haven't you? (!)) Wipe disk, clean install...

No point trying to repair if it's compromised.

I do NOT have that option, maybe because I removed I.E. when I created my custom ISO installation USB. My Google Chrome is the standalone installation version as well which might also be a contributing factor !

My default browser is Firefox, and I have the latest version of Internet Explorer (IE11). The Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box was fine, it happened only this month. I wonder why it still appears on other PCs like the PC of dalchina. If something is wrong with the internet, what similar process can I do as an alternative? Thank you.

Thanks Paul- Oooh.. removing IE... well, not clear what impact that would have of course...

@join- your full build number could be relevant as asked. I choose NOT to receive preview updates.

I have done the clean install 10s times, but it did not help.

On my Desktop, I custom installed about four years ago and haven't had ANY problems.

    On my Laptop [ My Screenshot ], I used DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName: . . . so that maybe the reason.
