    Thanks for the suggestion.
I went to my Google account but found no obvious way to open 'Settings.'
Please provide some details of the steps involved for an 83-year-old.
    Hi baumgrenze,

***If you have multiple Google accounts, and you're logged in to any of those accounts in your web browser, when you use any of those accounts, you must repeat the process for each account to get rid of the "Sign in with Google" prompt.

    1.
GO TO (CLICK ON THIS LINK) Google Account

    2.
    SELECT "Security"

    3. SCROLL DOWN BELOW “Your connections to third-party apps & services” AND SELECT “See all connections”

    4. TO THE RIGHT OF “Third-party apps & services” SELECT THE “Settings” ICON´

    5. TOGGLE OFF “Google Account sign-in prompts“

    Found Edge Browser Necessary

I tried the process using the Chrome browser on my Win10 machine and the sign-in link did not work.
I eventually deduced that Chrome did not like the URL and switched to Edge and it worked as advertised.
Thanks to everyone for all your information

When I try to download the TF tutorial index [and the EF tutorial index] as an xlsx in the Firefox browser, I'm being told to log into Google.

    Maybe it's a cookie thing.

Thanks. I'll give those a whirl.

I cleared all my cookies in Firefox and the problem disappeared.

    Best of luck,

It must be a cookie thing then. It's detecting a stored cookie so offers the prompt.
