Windows 10: Where did my outlook go? Solved

    Where did my outlook go?

    Hi all.

I just restarted my PC, and now I cannot find my "outlook" program.
When I hit start and search for "outlook", it just stays there searching.
And in my "all apps", I can't find it either.

Hmm... it seems like it is the search in windows that is fubar...
    Still can't locate outlook tho.
also, I can't access my mail app, since it is bugged and closes on startup

I would still be able to help in this thread. ;-)

What you should do is do a rightclick on the exe file and create a shortcut. If I remember correctly, Windows will respond with something like "The shortcut cannot be created in this folder. Do you want to create it on the Desktop instead?" You hit "Jiiihaa" and voilą, the shortcut is on your desktop. You can rename it as you like.

If you want to, you then can still move or copy the shortcut into the startmenu by moving/copying it into a subfolder of C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
