    Welcome to tenforums.

I'm not aware of any change in this respect. I use Thunderbird as my email client, and attachments work as they always have.

How is your wife accessing email?
    - via a browser?
    - via an email client (which)?

By exactly what steps is she adding the attachment?
(E.g. dragging and dropping, browsing to it...)

    Please be specific.

Screenshots help hugely. (Hide any private /personal details). To post a screenshot image:

    Thanks.

And thank you for your reply.

So presumably she uses a browser to access her email.

Then from within the internet browser, from BT's email site, she browser her PC to find the file to attach.

I can only assume she's making some kind of error in selecting the file to be attached.

Further, if she attaches many files (as your first post suggests) she would be able to check what IS attached before sending it.

Without screenshots it's just a guessing game, I'm afraid.
