Can anyone please help, tried everything setting up windows mail
hello all,
probably been discussed many times , but i am really having problems setting up mail
Have done sfc /scannow nothing showing as not in order
have done, settings, privacy, calendar checked settings are correct
have done open mail app, settings, manage account, sync settings, Email is on
have gone to windows settings, account, sync settings to off
have gone o control panel, region, setting is english uk
I reeboot computer in after checking setting, still the same, i open mail app it says cannot access the account you might need to update password or give permission to sync to this account
Note that the Mail app is a rather basic email client - and it is not so straightforward to find a way to back up email and settings, or to transfer them to another PC.
There are some much fuller featured free 3rd party email clients around.

I have used the Mail App for 8 years with no major problem on 6 Email accounts, that includes Outlook Mail and Gmail which are 2 of the most popular free Email Accounts and an ISP provided Account.
Without more details impossible to say what the problem is.
It is being replaced by the Outlook App in 2024, so I won't be wasting time on this one.
"unsupported program with a leftover legacy from much earlier versions of Windows."
Total nonsense as always from non-user spammers, the Mail App is updated currently at the rate of twice a week.
So ill set a reminder for say the 29th at 14:00, i will get a mail app notification at 03:00 about my agenda, and regardless of the actual calendar time, i keep getting the agenda at 03:00
How can i disable these?
