    Chrome randomly opening new Bing tab upon open


    This isn't happening in Firefox, but I think something changed on my Windows 10 to make Chrome open a new tab to Bing randomly when I open Chrome.

    I'm not finding anything on the site about it; has this happened for you?

    I think it may have had something to do with a Windows update, or a PC Health Check (recommended by Windows Update in Settings because I don't have Windows 11 and my PC is not compatible with it). I've heard of Windows doing shady crap like this but I'm just not seeing how to fix it.

    You used to have Chrome just open to a new empty tab? If so,

    Chrome:
    1) Three dots in top right corner
    2) Settings

    Chrome randomly opening new Bing tab upon open-image.png
