    Need Desktop email client recommendations


    I need a new desktop email client for Windows 10 (22H2)-- fast!

    For years I've been using Thunderbird, because (1) it has a very compact interface, (2) can handle multiple mail accounts, (3) makes it very easy to file mails in nested folders, and (4) makes it easy to filter mails, color-code them, and move them automatically to folders (including trash and junk). These features are all important to me.

    My main mails have been on my own domain, hosted by GoDaddy. But GoDaddy has switched from POP and IMAP to Exchange Server, and Thunderbird has problems with that. It can only work with Exchange via an extra-cost add-on (Owl)--reasonably priced, but its "30-day trial" expired after two hours so I can't really judge it---AND the Owl/Thunderbird combo can only handle one e-mail address, or so GoDaddy tells me.

    SeaMonkey might provide what you're looking for. It's a browser/email combination (browser very similar to Firefox, email very similar to Thunderbird), but has it's plusses and minuses.

    Ive tried quite a few email clients
    at the end I'm just sticking with the built in windows mail/calendar app
    trial and error i suppose ,till you find what suits your needs

    You should still be able to use IMAP. The other Microsoft fluff crap is non-email related. Unless you need that...

I have used a number of clients over the years from Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2013. I am wondering what you guys use as your main client.
