Broadband is your data/internet, usually provided by an ISP or via a mobile data from your cellular network.
I use Google with Windows Mail & have to use an app specific password as it is classed as an insecure program by Google
I also use Windows Live Mail as a backup when I need more Mail features.
These points should ensure that eventually your Mail Accounts will be free of Spam.
1. Microsoft Accounts include MSN, Outlook Mail, Hotmail etc. They are essentially all the same.
2. Sort out what Microsoft Accounts you have, passwords, recovery methods.
3. Use Webmail access to Emails and Mark those required as Spam. It is the Microsoft Mail Account that has the Spam filter.
4. The Windows 8/10/11 Mail App does not have a Spam filter, you can only move Spam to a Spam folder.
That is why it is having no effect.
In the Mail App it quite easy to setup the account, just use the Add an Account first option for Outlook.com. It is automatic & mega easy.
Your Email Address is exposed(= more spam) because your image editing is not adequate, you need to cut out the Email address area completely.
Without Spam filter option, it seems I am stuck with repeat junk mail. At this point, I am still uncertain which mail provider I am dealing with. I get daily reminder from Outlook about a delinquent account despite such account being normally functioning (like the others) . This is the format:

Geeze ... I am now definitely lost. When I upgraded from W10 to W11 in my newest PC (I now have two, a year apart), my mail format changed to (probably) W Live Mail which I did not like (too complicated, not user-friendly). I don't remember how I did it, but I was able to retrieve the old system (the one I had with the older computer - W10). This is how they look in both PC's:

Over the years, I have changed ISP's. and none of them affected mail system. I think the changes are from the OS. It was simpler and with sophisticated filtering options (levels of spam screening, ID spam, not spam, block senders, unbloc, etc. with OS before W7. (I never used W8) I forgot how it was with W7 (I think it was like Vista). Anyway, with W10 and 11, Mail has become too minimalistic with total disappearance of spam filter. So, now I presume there is a third party software that can provide filters?
Windows Live Mail does still work on win 10/11 & has mail rules, then there’s Thunderbird which should have rule options.
Live Mail usually doesn’t come pre-installed on PCs & finding it now is nigh impossible, I had to search Waybackmachine for my copy (which I saved).
Yes the inbuilt Mail app is extremely basic - too basic imo.
