    Sometimes can't access wetransfer.com

I've used wetransfer.com for many years. Lately it's gotten a lot worse for logging in. I can reach wetransfer.com but when I click on login, I get this error message This site can’t be reached. I'm using Chrome and usually I need to delete all WeTransfer cookies and site data and then it works. But I also tried it using Edge and it can't even get to wetransfer.com I get this message - Hmmm… can't reach this page

I then tried this on my more powerful upstairs computer and it worked fine. I then disabled AVG website protection and enhanced Firewall and it didn't help. A few days ago this happened and Edge did work and then Chrome started working again. I use WeTransfer several times a day to send and receive. I never have problems receiving. Any ideas?

    Hi Gerry -

Is WT permitted in your browser and firewall?
You might also wish to flush your DNS Cache.

I tried it a few times in the way past and had a couple of burps myself.

    Cheers.

I cleared the DNS cache. I use AVG virus protection and I disabled it temporarily to see if that had any effect and it didn't. AVG also controls the Firewall. I did add WeTransfer to the Exceptions list in AVG with no improvement. Edge, Chrome, and Firefox don't work, yet strangely Opera does. ON my more powerful upstairs computer, WeTransfer does work, but rarely it doesn't work. I also reset my ATT U-Verse router. Chrome and Edge sometimes work on this computer with WeTransfer

Same problen, when using WeTransfer without login?
In other words, is the issue related to the login procedure?

Yes when I hit log in and can't get to the next web page. Currently, my workaround is to use Opera or just not login. Unfortunately, when you do that it makes you put in a security code sent to my email. What's strange is sometimes Chrome works, and most times Edge works. Wetransfer doesn't seem to have a real support person, just a bunch of FAQ types of solutions. I don't have this problem with any other website.

Can you contact WeTransfer on your phone or another system ? May want to check with their customer service, help section, or forums.

Googling on "This site can’t be reached" may give you some hints.
Alternatively you may be pragmatic and use Opera for WeTransfer (I understand that browser works ok).
It is possible to make a shortcut which launches a browser other than your default browser and which directs you to WeTransfer
I can give you the syntax if interested.

I Googled "This site can’t be reached" with nothing that seemed to help any. Yesterday Edge is working fine. Chrome isn't. On Opera as soon as I open Opera it has the WeTransfer site. I'll still try to find a way to get in touch with WeTransfer support, so far it seems they're hiding pretty well

I'll still try to find a way to get in touch with WeTransfer support, so far it seems they're hiding pretty well. Today on Chrome it got past the error "This site can’t be reached" and went to a WeTransfer page with this error "Hmm, it looks like this page is having problems loading at the moment. We'll keep trying, or try to refresh it yourself." I haven't made any changes to my computer.

One hint was to change the dns provider. Change the standard dns in the network adapter to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and see whether it makes a difference.

I changed it to the Google public DNS provider and it didn't help, so I changed it back
