    McAfee Web Advisor ...

I wonder if anyone has encountered browsing problem/s with this bloatware?

Blows my mind that McAfees' entire product line hasn't been destroyed with fire from orbit yet. Most people would settle for mediocrity. McAfee comes nowhere near that level.

Why? If it's bloatware, and if it's causing problems, why are you using it (or even thinking about using it)

It's McAfee, that's all the warning anyone needs

I am not having problems. I always delete bloatwares but not sure about McAfee Web Advisor. That's why I am wondering if it is known to cause problems.

It's McAfee, that's all you need to know to make a decision to nuke it .... together with the rest of the product.

Consider using this free Firefox addon instead.

Yes, and that includes a similar feature with Avast AV. McAfee trial was pre-installed on my Laptops.
That feature was uninstalled. About a month ago on a new Laptop.
No problems with McAfee AV itself with that feature disabled.

I use similar features provided by Edge and Chrome Browsers.

Try it and see is really the only way to found out for sure.
