camera auto start and log on question

i have win10 21h2 19044 and on my top tab bar i have some tabs that i pin and use everyday 3 of them are foscam cameras that i have to open in there own tabs. is there anyway to get windows to open them with the username and password automatically when i start my chrome browser? every day i have to log onto them and there may be a bat file i could put in the task manager that might just do that for me? it is a long shot but i have to ask just in case. thanks.

Hi, as you're talking about a Chrome browser, that's an application specific question- i.e. how could I open a tab and then send particular data to fill fields on a page that opens- which is specific to whatever site applies here.

Other than that, if you had a 3rd party password manager, after you've signed in to that password manager, with one click it can
    a. Launch your browser with a particular URL
    b. Fill fields with data
    c. click the appropriate button.
    - given that you've created the appropriate login data for what's often referred to as a 'passcard' in each case of course.

That would partially automate this for you, assuming that's the sort of thing you're referring to (given no screenshot).

    1 click per camera..

Hi, I'm not 100% on this, but have you tried this in Google Chrome's settings?

    1) Press three dots in top right -> Settings
    2) In the search bar in Settings, copy/paste: password manager
    3) For "Offer to save passwords", Enable that option. (In my picture below, it's disabled). Is yours Disabled?
    4) Let's say yours is Disabled, then Enabling it, try logging in your three tabs, and when offered to save their passwords, save them, and then Disable the "Offer to save passwords" option. So your Chrome Browser will only remember those logins, and never ask you to save any other logins from any other sites.
    5) Below that, there's a "Check passwords" thing. I think in there it will show you what Google Chrome has saved for your logins, which would be those three.

    ALSO
Check out this option in Google Chrome:

So in my Google Chrome, whenever I close off Google Chrome from the top-right X (the one I put an orange box on), to close ALL of Google Chrome, not each tab separately, so that when I open Google Chrome again, it will load all these tabs again. That's just an idea to make things simpler.

i have the password manage enabled and i use that to start the cameras now, i was just wondering if i could get that a bit more automated so they would start like the weather underground does when i first open the tab start that app and then pin it. then every time chrome opens that app starts in the pinned state and i don't have to log onto it again unless i get an update. even if i turn off the pc those pinned tabs start except for the cameras. thanks for the help i will just keep doing it like i do then thanks

Try out the thing in Chrome that lets you open Chrome with the current tabs that are open. It's really useful for me, because you see in the second picture, I have many tabs open. So when I close Chrome, and open Chrome again, it will load all those tabs/websites exactly the way they are. I think you will notice how useful that option is.

yes that is what i do. for the most part everything is automatic even the cameras tabs show up but they do not log on, so when i click them i have to click to get the username and password in the fields and then click login what would be nice is to have them already running when chrome opens and then opens att eh pinned tabs so when i click on any of them they are running. it must not be possible. if i was to actually use a camera app tha thad all the cameras in ti they populate the app and open but then i have a bunch of small feeds. the way i do it now is i have 3 tabs/cameras and when i click on them i have an almost full screen that is much better.
    thanks

    You’re welcome.
Regarding them to auto log in when you open Google Chrome:
It really depends on the website itself, I believe. See if you can find your cameras’ settings to do “auto log in”.
Because yes, it depends on the website if you allow it to auto log in.

For example: One of my tabs is for my Hotmail email address. On Hotmail’s website, I check the box to auto log in, whenever I go to:

    You're welcome,

There's apps that let you run an automated task, like bat files. There's one called AutoHotKey (this is free).
I use a program to do many automated tasks called: Macro Express Pro (not freeware).

I know that with Macro Express Pro, you can have it set up to log you in on one site, then switch to the next tab, sign you in, and switch to the last tab, and sign you in.

I don't know how in AutoHotKey. Maybe someone else can help assist with that...
