    Unable to remove Microsoft Edge link from All Apps in Start Menu


    Hi all, I uninstalled Microsoft Edge but one minor cosmetic issue remains, as a leftover the Edge link in the All Apps list in the Start Menu and in the Start/Settings/Apps still show. I followed this method but none works, they are not listed in those folders. Is there a hack using the registry to solve this? thanks

    Be aware that some links in Windows are hard-coded to use Edge.

    No Edge.. hmm, what happens?

    Or are you also using EdgeRedirect perhaps?

    You cannot uninstall Edge from Windows. There are Windows apps that depend on it.

    Thanks folks, I finally decided to reinstall Edge. The benefit of removing Edge is not worth the risk of bricking the OS.
