How to Save Email in Mail App

This has to be a dumb question, but I can't figure it out and the help is useless.

I have an email that I would like to save on my local hard file... as in Outlook. There is noway to create or open local folders and then use the move "action"

You can't, because Windows 10 Mail (WM) isn't a finished product yet -- versus Windows Live Mail (WLM), part of Windows Essentials.

See Please confirm that new Windows Mail cannot import from WLM for more information.

WLM is available from Windows Essentials.
