Bank Security Code Never Recvd in Online Hotmail

Win 10 Pro 22H2 bld 19045.2728 March CU installed
live.outlook.com .....For awhile I haven't received a Login Security Code from my Regions Bank's online acct - DID in the past and CAN recv Text Msgs.
Hotmail address IS an online CHOICE as SEND target - Bank Sppt sees HTML Address but a Manual email TO Hotmail while I'm on phone Failed to Arrive.....
It is NOT in Junk - it's NEVER SEEN at All Anywhere....
There are NO Rules or Junk Filters for the bank - I looked for phantom creations....
regions.com as safe domain failed to produce a Code on next try.....
Bank Sppt confirmed 4 Codes Sent Today per my repeated Attempts to Login....
Temp changed bank to Gmail for emails......

WHY would this happen - Wild guess FIX?
    Many Thanks!!

    - Can receive text messages on phone, but not email to hotmail, correct ?

    - Was the requested code received on the phone, though that was not your choice ?

    - Do you receive email on your phone and computer and have checked both ?

    - Have you checked all folders on the left side in Hotmail, including Archive ?

[QUOTE=csun;2522791]- Can receive text messages on phone, but not email to hotmail, correct ? YES Issue is Regions Bank SECURITY CODE Emails ONLY - Other Emails arrive --- Bank CODE TEXT MSGs ARE Recvd on Phone

    - Was the requested code received on the phone, though that was not your choice ? NO Code AT ALL via Phone Hotmail, EPIM Mail App, Win 10 mail ... Code Appears NOWHERE though bank Sppt SEES it was Sent 4 Times for Each Time I attempted Login.. Blames HOTMAIL .... suggested Gmail use

    - Do you receive email on your phone and computer and have checked both ? YES ALL FOLDERS

    - Have you checked all folders on the left side in Hotmail, including Archive ? YES Every Folder in live.outlook.com, EPIM Mail App, Win 10 Mail - NO SECURITY CODE EMAIL ANYWHERE

Another forum, another post, another problem with hotmail ... beginning to wonder whether MS have started to give up on hotmail and this is becoming a not-to-subtle way of hinting for users to move on.

I note OP uses Win 10 Mail, a possible double whammy for problems (altho I note subject emails are not being received on other devices).

I'd be looking at setting up a separate email client (like freeware versions Thunderbird or eMClient), just for this account to start with, to see if subject problem emails come through (i.e. not a web based access, and not a out-dated no-longer-supported email client like Win10 Mail)

Hotmail is Exchange in EPIM (changed from IMAP that had issues in EPIM, so yes, I SEE them in Win 10 Mail, Online, and in EssentialPIM mail App. I'm NOT a techie, and believed (ie) Win 10 Mail could be used (as a Backup) WHEN I was having EPIM (main use method) App issues.
I Can't imagine these varied Accts used Mostly to SEE Hotmail Prevents a Security Code Entirely.
Using Gmail for bank now Unless a Fix here results.
    Thanks for Reply....

Do I understand well that your bank sends a security code via both SMS and email at the same time? Does not look very secure to me.

    ....
    Gmail working ok ?

May want to contact MSN and inform them of the issue and seek any advice. I see that Regions Bank is an online banking service only ? May be an issue with their system that has developed recently recognizing Hotmail.

Not to make light of the issue or be personal, but may I say with all the recent issues with banking in the Nation and World, may want to review Regions Bank status.

If the text message doesn't even get received that sounds to me like your bank has issues. But never the less, and I'm sorry to say, Hotmail and Outlook are absolute crap IMO. Try Thunderbird and another email provider.

    Tip# 421

Keep all the financial emails at one address only. Use other addresses for other stuff. Learn to use email filters so that you can quickly spot a fake email should it not pass the muster of the email filter... Anyway...
