Shawn, for some reason I have to acquire a code to be able to do any of those things.

The only things I can view are Basic Info and Related Accounts.

Kari, I'm not receiving any emails from Microsoft. I tried what you posted, but when I get to the code verification, that's where I stop because Microsoft isn't wmailing me or I'm not getting there email.

From what I remember there's a vague link on the bottom to proceed anyway or something but I believe they unlocked and it worked as it was supposed to in the beginning,
They are lock happy now days for your security :/

First one when I installed in VM worked. Today while installing on proper HDD they sent me code 4 times to 3 email accounts and they were rejected. Finally gave up and did it without one. Can't see no difference at all, with or without it.

I purposely gave a gmail address just to keep it away from Microsoft and the built in app,
Also gave a false password lol for good measure then after a couple times it kicked me into the local account process which I was already using on win-8.1.. which was covered with 10

Didn't know about the disconnect internet thing at the time :/

See step 19 in the tutorial below for another way to setup Windows with a local account. :)
