All downloads with Edge result in a Unconfirmed nnnnnn.crdownload file

    All downloads with Edge result in a Unconfirmed nnnnnn.crdownload file


    Every time I download a file, any file, I get a Unconfirmed nnnnnn.crdownload file. Doesn't matter what I download.
    If I download the same file from Chrome or Firefox it downloads correctly.

    I tried resetting Edge settings but that made no difference.

    Any suggestions?

    Almost never fails, as soon as I post a problem I find the answer!

    I update Edge from Version 110.0.1587.69 (Official build) (64-bit) to Version 111.0.1661.41 (Official build) (64-bit) and now downloads seem to be okay. When I checked the a few days ago there were no updates.
    Oh well ....

I have done a search for all files with the word e.g. "dvd" in the filename.. It returns a list of files result.. The problems is I want to move the folder/s that contains those files not just the file on it's own.. How can I do this?
