Familiar sites asking me to login every time

    Firefox 110.0

Unlike previously, several sites, including tenforums.com, that I regularly visit are now regularly requiring my credentials.

Not sure, but I'm thinking there must be some setting I unknowingly changed.

I had a problem a few days ago when my CCleaner settings reverted to default, perhaps during an update. My history got wiped out, maybe the cookies, but that's been fixed.

Are you using any third party tools to do cleaning or having your browser delete history when closing?

Open CCleaner, Options > Cookies... and see if there are any "Cookies to Keep", on the right side.

When you run CCleaner's "Custom Clean", it deletes all the cookies that you haven't "moved" to the right side.
For example... if tenforums.com is listed on the right side under: Cookies to Keep, then CCleaner will NOT delete those.

I had forgotten about that. I made the adjustments. Good call. We'll see what happens going forward.

Do you know of any Cookie/Cash cleaner that has an exception list?

    Thanks

No i don't have a program for just cleaning cookies & cache, usually it is in our program that we scan the whole computer for viruses that takes care of them ! What we usually do is have them use the built in cleaner for Windows 10 & Windows 11 and other Windows series ! You could use CCleaner then delete it if you are not happy with it !

Update Firefox. It could just be a bug:

Firefox 110.0.1, See All New Features, Updates and Fixes

    Note   Note

Fixed clearing recent cookies clears all cookies (bug 1816279).

1816279 - Firefox 110 Forget the last x time deletes all cookies
