    Firefox 'New Private Window' has all my history


    Hi. In a moment of boredom, I thought I'd check out Firefox's private browsing feature by clicking the hamburger and 'New Private Window. So far so good but when I typed in the search bar the recent sites from my normal window showed up. I then clicked History and it was as if I was on normal Firefox. Surely 'New private window' should have no history?

    Nope, just uses the same settings as the regular version. So, if you're not clearing history on exit, it'll still be there in the private version.
