Two in a week? I would call it a surprisingly good week. I get 5 to 20 a day.

I was talking about my Outlook.com (Hotmail) and Gmail addresses. My real main email address is from my own domain, where I think I got last scam sometime last summer.

Gmail is absolutely not protecting you from scam. I am sorry to say this, but your comment was quite silly.

Ditto the first part of @Kari, I use both Hotmail and Outlook.com and haven't seen the issue yet. Same for my own but only had to change the password. Haven't checked Gmail lately in Windows, leave it for when on the ChromeBook.

As for passwords, I saw a hint on what to use awhile ago and it made sense, use something few people know about and that hasn't been used since before going on the Internet, something that may not show in ones background, something from long ago.

Daily getting scam emails. You are lucky to have just two scam emails in a week.

Yes, 6-10 scam emails per day to my ISP's email server. The domain of all of them is @xxxxx.netflix.com where the xs are a random string of letters and numbers. This makes it impossible for any of the email apps to block the scammers by the address or domain. Grand PIA.

01/25/2023: Today's spam domain is @q.com. Much easier to block with the email server app.

I get tons of those too. Luckily, Outlook is on point and quickly sends them to the junk pile with a backhand strike

If you want tons of scam mails use TWC roadrunner mail. They seem to filter none of the malicious mailings
