I see, that's sad...
I have trust in only one add blocker but it doesn't help me with this.

I suggest "startpage" which behind the scene serves google search results without wasting space with images and videos:

images covering you entire screen instead of search results

zebal, that is my major problem! I have complained a couple times but at the same time, I understand that companies cannot make changes for a very small sector of customers nor do I expect them too. Just trying to find new ways to do things that I can do to make my computer experience better.

I did get a suggestion from one of my clients that has somewhat the same issue and they suggested using Brave. Any thoughts on this?

Brave is a web browser, I never used it so I don't know.

One issue which I would have installing it is that Brave is not a mainstream browser and I find questionable how well they patch it for security issues.

Did you check out my previous suggestion about startpage?

Brave is chromium based and was initially using goggle search. It is now using its own search engine and therefore is going to be less biased than many other engines.

dalchina, my apologies as I formulated a response to you & Ghot last night and posted it – I thought! Just found it on my computer after reading your unsubscribed post. I formulate my posts and replies on my computer before posting to prevent misstatements and errors. I copy and paste to the forum. Instead of posting as I thought I had, I saved it to my documents.
It was the following:

dalchina, when you use Google search, do you not get all the images and ads that pertain to your search subject? Does google operate differently in the UK than the USA? The search link you posted results are very little difference than the search results I am getting. I missed the 21 Google Search Tips but will definitely study it tomorrow. Looks interesting, thanks!

OOPS! I also need to apologize to Melneb who first post “startpage” and zebal that posted the link and description of startpage. Totally missed it! Checked it out and it is definitely better than google. I still get a long row of images at the very first row of the search results list but no images as I scroll down the list. This is the best result list I have seen so far.

I guess ya’ll are due an explanation of these sudden issues that I have never had on this site. I have gone to a 44” screen in order to get everything large enough I can read it. Works great except for TenForums. Right now I have this thread opened on screen double in size so that I can read it. This makes it only show the left half of the page and must be right scrolled to see the right side of the page therefore I miss a few things on occasion. Wonder how a 75” screen would work!!!
