Alternatives To GOOGE News?

So news changed for me the other day and while for years it's been my go to within the first 10 minutes in the morning I find the new interface abhorrent. While I can't recall if I had this reaction the last time News changed it's interface I am quite sure I did not look for substitutes.

Now I am. So what have you all switched to if you cannot stomach the new format. A local news option is a must as well as TABS that can be accessed with the usual suspects i.e.. Sports, Entertainment, Business etc. TIA.

😊 Certainly agree ! Long time reader of Google News Old format was perfect,

I have success in switching browsers to get the old format, at least so far.
I have Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

This AM Firefox presented the old format. May download Brave which may be the best.

Will keep looking, but in the past could not find another news site as good. Too many photos and cluttered formats.

Update: This afternoon could not get any browser to present old format. May try Brave.

IPhone does have old format.

Brave is my default browser : ) Needless to say this is how I found out that the rat bastards switched me.
