    Browser recommended for vision impaired

Have used Firefox for years and totally love it until recently. For some unknown reason they decided to use an extremely smaller font on all their program tabs, url, bookmark bar etc. The only way I can use it is with the W10 magnifier. Websites and everything else was easy to set to a size I could see without the magnifier. Have tried every suggestion I could find on the net to remedy this situation but none succeeded. I have wasted all the hours, days and weeks I can afford and must now find a browser that can handle my vision impairment. In the last week I started increasing the scaling and any other setting I could find to 150%, with resolution set at 1280x720 with a 16 font for everything in my computer. Everything is now workable except for the top bars of FireFox where the font remains at approx. an 8. Personally I believe that this is caused by a W10/FF conflict but regardless of what causes it, there should be enough intelligent people on both sides to figure what seems to be a habitual issue. I have contacted FF but really do not expect any response as it appears this has been an on going issue with FF for a long time so I am looking for a new browser and any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Does this help? Notice how the fonts are larger. I changed the value from default of -1.0 to 1.5. You can set value to your choice.

i would like to increase the size of my address bar, tabs and toolbar

Every site and everyone keeps saying layout.css.devPixelsPerPx works so I went back thru 7 different Firefox profiles and could not get any of the to allow me to make the changes. This led me back to my thought that it might be W10. Decide that I would go thru my 9 W10 user profiles and found 1 dated 10/15/22 that allowed layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to use 2.0 to get what I needed. Don't kno what caused the issue but thank you for making me take a different look at what I had done numerous times that did not work.

When I install Firefox in a new computer I normally replace the profile with an existing one from another computer. That saves me from having to recreate the profile again from scratch. However, the profile for Firefox on Windows 7 was the original unmodified one.

I don't know why you were having problems but the change in layout.css.devPixelsPerPx worked for me with Firefox in Windows 7, 10, and 11.
